Yoke is a startup company that offers an API-first data integration platform designed for Composable Commerce. The client requested a modern logo that symbolises connection, which is the core concept of the business. The name itself refers to a wooden crosspiece fastened over the necks of two animals and attached to the plough or cart that they are to pull. I chose a bold font and drop shapes, which evolved from my initial drawings and demonstrate connection and variety. Removing the stem from the letter 'K' resulted in a binding effect, reflecting the image of a turned yoke itself
